Deleting connections

While in Network places there are 2 Cisco VPN adapter connections "LAN2 &
LAN3" I have both disabled and want to no longer use either one. I tried
deleting them but get an error message saying "The connection you selected
cannot be deleted". (Machine XP W/SP2). How can I remove these connections?
Under local admin account & both are disabled.
 
try booting up in to safe mode and remove them from there...

Press F8 when booting up and select safe mode..

Safe Mode with networking or they won't show up! But I did try that - didn't
work.


Device manager > and then uninstalled both worked. For some reason I thought
I would have to go into the registry.
