Deleting certain days in a long string

Hi,
I have a long string of dates from 1900 to 1952 listed in
one colomn going down, e.g.,
01/01/1900
01/02/1900
01/03/1900
01/04/1900
01/06/1900

Say that 01/04/1900 is a SATURDAY. I want to delete every
Saturday. I've looked and looked and can't find anything
that says how to create a formula for this.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Please note that not only Excel but also Lotus display the wrong day of the week for any day before 03/01/1900.
