Hallo NG!
A virusscan with latest Knoppicilin indicated 4 small com-files in
System Volume Information being infected. Can I simply delete these 4
files or better the complete restore-point RPnnn or what else measure
should be taken to keep things consistent?

If you are 100% sure that your computer is now clean, make a new System
Restore point. Then delete all but that new restore point from the
Advanced section in Disk Cleanup (Start>Run "cleanmgr" without the
quotes [Enter]). Or you can remove all System Restore points from the
System Restore tab in the Control Panel System applet. Reboot to clear
out the old points. Then you can enable System Restore again.

No way to remove only one restore point. You can remove either all or
leave just the most recent, depending on how you do it.
