Deleting a program

Trying to delete a program - After clicking on ADD/Delete
on Control Panel get message =- " Exception noted "
shell32.dll,Control_RunDLL "C"\Windows\System32
\appwez.cpl" -- Waiting for a few seconds the following
appears -"Instruction@)x68899a56 referenced memory @)
x01899424 could not be read" --- So, rite now I can't add
or delete anything. Hope someone has a solution.

Is you antivirus software enabled and running? If so,
disable it in the program control, then restart. Then try
removing the program. Sometime antivirus is the culprit.
