Probably not, but maybe. Windows Mail on Vista doesn't store email in a
database file like Outlook Express did (.DBX files), it stores them as
discrete .EML files directly on the hard drive. As such, you *might* be
able to recover a deleted message using a file system undelete application
(the one I used is called Handy Recovery,
http://www.handyrecovery.com/) .
I've successfully done this once; I was extremely lucky that the file wasn't
overwritten by another file before I attempted the recovery.
