I accidentaly deleted a user in my XP running machine.
That user had a series of files that are impossible to
replicate. Can anyone tell me if there is anyway or any
program that will allow me to recover them.

I have tried several programs with no avail. I have made
a mirror image of the drive right after the incident, so
nothing has been written over the data.

Please help.

when you delete a user it creates a back up of the user
files (also gives you a no save option), try searching
for the deleted files or looking for them in explorer.

If the files are worth it, contact Drive Savers. Drive Savers is a
professional data recovery firm highly regarded in the tech industry.
No, I don't work with them, but I do recommend them. Their website is
www.drivesavers.com and their US phone number is 800-440-1904. Their
services are not inexpensive and start around $500. Only you can decide
how valuable those files you didn't back up are. Please note, if you
want to recover data on that drive, stop using it immediately.
