deleted service pack.

I have just deleted service pack 7 on my pc and now the pc will boot up bt
does not reach the desk top. have tried F2 to boot in the normal way bt i get
a blank screen .

There are no operating systems that have service pack 7 on them. Do you mean
Internet Explorer 7?

What is the F2 (boot normal)? Surely you mean F8 (boot menu)

it was definately a service pack for windows that was deleted and F2 to boot
the computer.

As several of us have said, there is no such thing as Service Pack 7 for
Windows XP. Windows XP has had only *two* service packs, and they are
numbered 1 and 2. Where, exactly, did you get this SP7?
 
hi, i have now realised i deleted service pack 2 from control panel, and add
or remove programs. Now what happens is it loads to the windows logo with the
gren loading bar then just a blank screen. I pressed F2 to try to re boot in
the normal way.
