I configured my outlook at home with several pst files for main from
different accounts and along the way I must have deleted the original pst
file.

I did not realize this was done and in the mean time had cleared items from
the recycle and I do a DOD type wipe of free space after a reorg the files.

Now Outlook has this personal folder and I get an error the object not
found. Know any tricks to get this personal folder removed from the outlook
view? Is there a reg hack?

Thank you

Dan

What version/mode/SP level of Outlook? (find this in Help | About).

Daniel,

Did you removed the personal folder for Outlook. Deleting the pst file
itself does not remove the mapping to it from Outlook.

In the tree list pane, right-click on the root node of the message store
for the deleted .pst file and close it. You could also use File -> Data
File Management to remove the non-existent message store (.pst file).

Outlook 2003 with the most current SP installed. I'm connected to my ISP and
not directly to an Exchange Server like at work.

If Vanguard's suggestions don't work, you'll need to create a new mail
profile.
