Deleted items keep reappearing in inbox

When I delete items, they reappear in my inbox as new messages, and are
duplicating. (If I delete message once it comes back as 2 new messages) I
tried to
empty deleted items manually, this didn't work. I notice as they come in the
little notifyer window has a red flag next to the message. I now have heaps
of duplicates. If I delete 2 duplicate messages it comes back as four! Help!

Conceivably these mesages are still in your ISP mailbox and Outlook is
downloading them again. Is there any way you could check the contents of
your mailbox via the web to see if that is the case?
