Deleted Folder

Hello, I have a coworker who was trying to cut & paste a file to a new
location and deleted the file before pasting it. Is there any way this can
be recovered? The couple places I know to look was the recycle bin and it
was not there, I did a search for the file and did not find it and I know on
my computer through outlook there is a journal of files but it is not set up
on hers. We are a very small office and there is a server but I am not sure
how to look on it.
Any ideas at all? Thanks in advance!

If it was on the server and you remember the location, use your command
line and go to the folder where it was and try "Salvage"?
It depends on what server system you're using whether this is the right
command. I know it from an older NetWare version.
It might be limited to Novell and Unix servers.
