i would like to know how can i get a file back, after is
been deleted because it was infected whit viruses.
how can i replece that file?

You should say what file and what virus. It might not be needed since many times the virus creates phoney files that are called for in the registry. You might have to clean the bad entries in the registry. Look up the virus at Symantec's web site. In any event, you don't want the infected file back, so you'll have to reinstall a real system file from your installation cd or other source.

Needed to add this: to replace a real system file you can run this command: sfc /scanno
Have your Windows cd in the drive. Note the space after sfc.

What file, who deleted it, and what makes you think you want it
back?

If Windows is complaining because it can't find some file that
was deleted by your anti-virus program, you probably *don't* want
it back, or you would have the virus back again. The anti-virus
program deleted the virus, but left you with a reference to it
that you also need to delete.
