I take it the Windows folder if from some old OS that you will no longer use
and you clean installed W2K into the \WINNT folder? If so, then yes, it is
safe (from Windows 2000's point of view anyhow) to delete the \Windows
folder.
If you're trying to run some old applications, they might rely on some files
they put in the \Windows dir - so it might be a good idea to move the
contents of the Windows directory - try running all your legacy
applications - then if they all run OK, you can delete the files.

I just recently installed windows 2000 on my computer and I was curious,
after I move everything I want from the windows folder, to the winnt
folder.
Is it then safe to delete the windows folder?
