When Windows XP was set up on my computer, 3 user
accounts were created. I want to delete the 3 separate
users and just have one user.

In Control Panel, you can go into the User Accounts icon, and from there
delete any unneeded User Accounts. Note, however, that the Administrator
account, if one has been set up, cannot be deleted, though it can be hidden.
It's a good idea to have your one user account password-protected, even
if nobody but you uses your computer.
Before you delete any user accounts, check in the My Documents section to
ensure that any files created within this User Account are archived
somewhere else if you intend to keep them.

Follow these steps:

Select Start then control panel then administrative tools
then computer management. On the left hand side of the
screen that opens up it should have a title that says
Computer management (local), three items below that it
says Local Users and Groups, select this one. On the
right two folders are listed Users and Groups, double
left click the users folder.

Simply select and delete the accounts you dont want. Just
be careful not to delete the administrators account :)

Right Click on My Computer select Manage, then select
Local Users and Groups. Select the Users sub folder
right click on the User Name and select delete.
