Is there a way for the url history (from the address drop down list) to be
deleted automatically when you exit IE 6. I have the history set to 0 days,
but still every address typed in shows up in the next session even when IE
has been closed and reopened.
Thanks.

No, you can't. Having the history set to 0 works if you reboot or log off
and on again, but I need something that clears the url's when you simply
close IE and then reopen it which is what the patrons do. This is for the
public pc's and patrons don't want the next patron to see where they've
been.

There is a way to hide the url's but i can't find a way to pemanently delete them. To hide them do this tools-internet options-content-autocomplete-un tick box.
If any1 knows how to get rid of them all together let me know

On the Content Tab of Internet Options, click the auto complete button and
uncheck web sites in the popup box.
