Delete Query

I have a database that is not read-only, but I cannot run a delete query.
I've went through the help steps, but I am the owner of the database, I have
administrator rights on the network, and the database is in My Documents
folder.

Anyone know why I might not be able to run this delete Query?

Does it give you any error message? If so what is it?

Have you tried running a repair and compact?

Sorry hit the send too soon.

Do you have any relationships that might be holding it up?
 
It gives this message: "Could not delete from specified tables"

I have run a repair and rebuild or a compact and repair. Don't know if it
matters, but both of these databases started out as an excel file.
