Delete page 1 of a 10 page document

I have a 10 page document and I need to get rid of the 1st page.
Not the text on the page, but the page itself. Pages 2-10 have headers and footers and other formating that disappear or mess up when I employ page deleting strategies I've read on this board.
Deleting a page in the middle of a document, no problem.
Deleting page 1, Problem!
Help please.
