delete My Recent Documents history

can anyone tell me how to delete the history of My Recent Documents? I use
a shared computer and would like to clean that area out.

Double click My computer..double click C (if that's the drive your OS is
on)..then documents and setting. Then go to tools..folder options..view tab
and click show hidden files and folders. Open the Owner folder or whatever
it's named. Then you can open recent documents and delete the links in it.

A shortcut is start>settings>taskbar and start
Click to expand...
menu>start menu (again)>customize>clear.
