delete hangs when deleting files

Dear List,

Whenever I delete files, either my dragging to the recycle bin, the delete
button or right-mouse-click-delete, I get the delete file? box and then I
get the deleting message ... and that box stays there and delete hangs.
Most of the time I can click on the X in the title bar to close the box (and
the file is deleted).

Anyone else have this problem?

I have had this prob. when deleting from another
partition to recycle bin. Check that files to be deleted
are not larger than recycle bin capacity, also go to
recycle bin properties, set to "delete immediately".
