I set up a guestbook at www.sendingmiracles.com
Results are being saved in an access databas
My hosting provider is myhosting.co
I need to delete one of the entires - asap (someone is embarassed b/c they did not realize it was a public forum
Where is the database
Can I view entries offline and edit
Also...early on I changed from a .htm guestbook to the asa guestbook and appeared to lose all of the guestbook entries that had been there (I told FP to overwrite existing files)....are these gone
HELP!

The current updated database should be in your _fpdb on your live site. so open the live site in FP
and publish back to your local machine, then export the database to your desktop, then open in
Access to edit, then run Tools | Compact and Repair, close, then import backing into the fpdb folder
in your local copy, then publish.

Thanks a million

I think I am getting closer. I was able to download the file back to my
local computer. It is a .mdb file. However, Front Page does not open it.
And, apparently, I do not have Microsoft Access.

You have to have Access or you will need to create admin pages for editing and deleting records via
ASP. If you have FP2002 or FP2003 you have the option to do this under the FP Database component.
