I want to delete most of my old Word 2001 documents.
Is there any easier ways to quick view and delete without having to fully
open each of the document?
Thank you so much.

Are you really using Word 2001, which is a Mac version? It may change the
answer.

You might want to pull the documents and view in detail or list this will let
you read the description or title of the document . This will peoblably make
it easier to delete your documents instead of opening every one of them. As
you migtht be able to know by the title or description if it is something you
want to delte or keep

There is a way to look at a preview of your documents from the file open
window.
From the Menu Bar Select File, Open then
On the upper right hand side of the File Open window, there are some Icons,
click on the Icon next to Tools and choose Preview.
Now when you select a file you will see a preview on the right side of the
window.
The only matter is that you can't delete a document you are previewing, so
you will have to switch to another view to delete any files.

Not only do you need to switch to another view, you also need to close
and reopen the dialog box depending on the version of Word you are
using.
