Delete desktop icon

Heya, i cant delete a file on my desktop, its a mod
profile and i've uninstalled the mod but i still cant
delete the icon, could any body help?

Try deleting the file from the Safe Mode. If it does not appear on the
Desktop here you should find it in the C:\DOCUMENTS AND
SETTINGS\{username}\DESKTOP folder.

if you cant delete with Thorsten's way, try to find a registry editor or
erase manually the records form regedit..
