Hi,

If I want to delete a caption, can I simply delete it by
selecting the text and press delete without having any
future problems? I'm asking this because if I do so with
the EndNote software links I screw up everything...Thanks.

Eric,

Try it and see! If it screws your document (which it shouldn't) then CTRL+Z
(undo) will put it back again.

G'day "Eric" <[email protected]>,

Sorta kinda. It can screw up caption numbering - this happens when a
byte or few of corruption is in the para you delete. The text goes,
but the corrupt 'object' stays, keeping a missing reference to that
number.
