Hi,

Using email Options I set up an email to be sent to myself in ten minutes to
test the process. When I pressed send the email was sent instantly....Why?

thanks,

Danny

Does this mean that the only way with exchange server is to use rules? I
used delivery options but it did not work...

Thanks,

Danny

Are you using Exchange? If so, the delayed delivery option should work
(without using a rule). If it isn't working, contact your Exchange
admin. I suppose it could be disabled in Exchange.

If you are NOT using Exchange, yes, you will need to us a "defer
delivery" rule on a send. However, this is a rule which means Outlook
needs to be running to execute it. So if you use a defer delivery rule,
you'll need to send the e-mail and then leave Outlook running until
after the delay has elapsed and the e-mail has been sent.
