Delayed File write

When attempting to save from an xp pro computer to an nt4
server One computer in a network of 30 has the following
problem,

Source MRxSmb

I.D 50

delayed file write, windows was unable to save data to the
file\device\lanmanredirector. data lost, maybe network
connection etc.
Note: i have searched through the help files and they ask
if the error message mentions a C000022C error, then there
is a fix for it,BUT i get an c000020c error,
Can Anyone help!
 
I would try moving the computer to another connection that doesn't give any problem. It sounds like you may have a flaky cable...
 
I doubt it is as we have up to 6 computers in a network
of 30 that are having this problem and at different times.

any other suggestions?

Just to finalise this, I believe I have sorted this out,
I'm not sure how but by changing the network adapter from
full duplex to half duplex, seems to reduce this error
quite considerably
