We also have some problems with this. It doesn't seem to matter what version
of Outlook client - for some it'll work and others it won't.. Any
solutions/suggestions?

Saw that the user below posted in late December and hasn't received an
answer.. Is it a bug?

Delay send isn't working correctly. User creates a
message, clicks on Options, and selects Delay Send until

i'm having exactly the same problem although it seems quit
tempremental!

Basically we have an employee who wants to send a newsletter to ove
500 clients. What we want to do, and this seems to be most logical, i
send it overnight. This requires the delaying of the e-mail and it'
attachment. Right, so i did a test e-mail with the date and time set a
a point yesterday and all worked fine. The mail sat in my outbox unti
the time i had set then at the set time it left the outbox and wa
delivered to an external e-mail.

All seemed good, so the all clear was given for the newsletter to b
sent last night. This was set up for an evening sending time of 19:00
but coming into the office this morning the mail is still sat in th
outbox of the employee trying to send the newsletter.

Second to this, i retried to send a delayed mail EXACTLY in the sam
way i conducted the test yesterday and this sits in my outbox withou
being sent!!!! If i open these mails i can then send them as the 'd
not deliver before' time has expired, but the mail has not bee
'automatically' been sent from the outbox.

I'm completely miffed as to why this worked yesterday but no
today.....

That's what happened...here's a brief system description:
Outlook 2000
Exchange 5.5
Anything else anyone would need to know?

Can anyone shed some light on this situation? Hope anyone can help...

Cheers
