For what? The default is to let Windows manage the page file itself. In

this value is either too small, too large, or just right, and there is no
way to tell which of these cases apply to you.
The proper size depends on the mix of programs that you use on your
computer; hence letting the system manage the size of the page file works
better.

"Set" after you make your change.

The default is not necessarily best for your system. It depends on how
much RAM you have and what programs you run. Review the article on
virtual memory in XP and how to set the size of the page file so it's
optimum for your system.
