I remember my win98 computers when they defragmented all the data was put in
a neat order leaving the empty space at the end of the drive.
I have tried using the XP defragmenter and the O&O defrag professional
edition, but after the defragmentations ends the drive still seems
disorganized!
For example the free space is on various places of the drive and not tidied
up in the end of the drive.

Does anyone know why this happens?
A way perhaps to do a total defrag and organization of the disk?

One answer of many is defrag does NOT defrag restore points. Another if you
have an OEM the data from the manufacturer cannot be moved.

Give PerfectDisk a try and select the "Smart Placement Defrag" choice.
