defrag

i am unable to defrag my hardrive
i get a massage saying i need permission from an
administrator to defrag a volumn

Are you certain that you have administration access on
this computer? You might have a "limited" account and
therefore are isolated from these system components.

If it's XP Home, boot up in SAFE mode, logon as
Administrator, defrag . . .
