Defrag

When I Analyze before a defrag, it gets canceled with this
messege: The scan has been canceled because of an error
occured in file: C/windows/prefetch\takmgr.exe-20256c55.pf
What could be causing this error.

Try booting into Safe Mode and running defrag from there. Start|Run
"msconfig" withou the quotes. Click on the boot.ini tab and select
Safe. After you've run defrag and are ready to restart, run msconfig
again and de-select Safe.

You probably have a corrupt file.
Go to:
C:/windows/prefetch and delete: taskmgr.exe-20256c55.pf
It'll be recreated later if you need it.
Run defrag Analyze again.
