Yes, look for a program called dirms, which stands for "do it right
microsoft". Very good little program that runs in a DOS window or I
believe in straight DOS.

FWIW: OS supported XP, NT2000, NT4.

Q for regulars: is it freeware?

These programs can be downloaded and used for free. The free
versions have limited functionality and must be re-registered on
the DIRMS website every 30 days.

Hmmm... The version I have I downloaded June, 2004 and is completely
free, no registration, no limited functionality. The author must have
changed the programs status. I guess I don't want to lose my copy of
the June '04 version.
