defrag probs

is not valid windows image'' i keep getting this message
when i try to defrag???

Click start/run, type "sfc /scannow" (without the quotes) and click ok.
Allow this tool to validate the system file set.

Do you use Visual Studio? mfc42u.dll is related to c++, as I recall.
