Default XP PRO Monitor

How do I change the default monitor to my Nvidia card from the on board video I was using on the motherboard? The card is the primary monitor but not the default. And I think because of this I can't see the bios or safemode or even the scan disk unless I put the monitor plug back on the other monitor hook up on the motherboard. And then I have to put it back on the card to see everything else. I would like to see all on the card only. Any suggestions please

The monitor is the thing you look at -- the "screen" -- are you saying that
you have two monitors and you want to swap them, or use them both, or what?

As far as which one displays the bios, that's set in the bios and has
nothing to do with XP.
