Default View/Text Size?

I've often found myself re-adjusting the Text Size (in
the "View" menu) in Internet Explorer 6.0, and wished it
would start out with that size every time. Is there a way
to set the default Text Size, either in IE itself or
somewhere else in Windows? I feel like I'm missing
something.

Thanks,
Paul

Click Start > Run > Regedit.exe
Goto the following key:
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet
Explorer\International\Scripts\3]
"IEFontSize"=hex:02,00,00,00

Set the IEFontSize values according to ur wish. The legal values for
IEFontSize are 01,02,03, and 04 with 1 being the smallest, 4 the largest and
2 being the default medium font.

It should stick at the last setting.
If IE-View-Text Size does not stick....

---solution 1
If you are using Eudora 4.2 or greater then use Tools-Options-Viewing
Mail and uncheck "Use Microsoft's viewer"
It is Eudora that is setting the IE text size and unchecking that
option will stop it.

The key that Eudora 4.x will change is this:
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet
Explorer\International\Scripts\3]
"IEFontSize"=hex:02,00,00,00

---solution 2
In Outlook 2000 go to Tools/Options/Mail Format/Fonts/International
Fonts, and for each font
change the "Font Size" entry to your desired size.

Thanks for the fix, Ramesh. Between your reply and
Alan's, I realized that it's likely a problem of Eudora
trying to "Use Microsoft's Viewer", which I've now
switched off.

Thanks!
