HELP!
I've looked everywhere to solve this one and searched Google and read
most articles on http://word.mvps.org, but I just can't find an
answer.
We're in a LAN with several hundred users which all use Word.
What I want to do for ALL the users is the following:
let Word start with a default font set to Syntax 10 (or whatever) en
let all the following documents have the same settings (File > New, or
the document icon) and have all the headings etc. also use this font.
So far I found out that sharing the normal.dot on the network is NOT a
good idea. I've tried to use an *.dot in the startup folder (the one
for Word offcourse), this does nothing that I want.
Let Word start with an /*.dot parameter only works for the first
document, all the rest is based on the normal.dot.
Change the Word icon to an *.dot on the network also works for the
first document only...
There must be an easier way to do this... BTW: changing the file>new
icons to the *.dot is not an option as this has to be done voor 100's
of users and we distribute Word with unicenter.
Is there a way to solve this one with a template of some sort.
thanks in advance!
