I am using Word 2000.
I am trying to create a set of paragraph styles and then setting the
as default, so when Word opens they are listed in the drop drown menu.
I'm able to create the styles, but can't figure out how to set them a
default.
Can anyone help?

Thanks

If you create paragraph styles they are by default created in the *document*
not the template. You can either, when creating styles check the 'add to
template' button, or you can use the organizer (tools > macro > macros >
organizer) to copy the styles from document to template.
