Hi,
This setting for Details View in Windows Explorer is not retained in my
machine for more than one Windows session. When the machine is re-booted the
Details View which was previously set, reverts to Icon View and has to be
reset each time. This has only been happening for a few days, prior to which
it was fine. Is there a Registry value which is set for this view and if
so, why is it being changed?

Hello,

I am experiencing the same problem. Upon closing the Windows Explorer and
open a new one, the program always start in icon view. What is the registry
or policy value that controls the default view for Windows Explorer. The
"Apply to all Folders" is only good for the current session. My experience
is on Windows 2003 Enterprise Server with Terminal Services enabled. Many
of my users also want persistent detail view in Windows Explorer.

Thank you
