I set Internet Explorer as my default program however Windows Media Player
takes over instead by mistake. To make matters worse it shows a window that
says it is unable to play this file. This window also appears when I try to
play any media. I tried to restore my computer to an earlier point when I
wasn't having this problem and when I clicked restore the Windows Media
Player came up with that darn window inside it. Same thing happened when I
ran Startup Repair. I have been working on this frustrating problem for a day
now and the only thing I can think of is taking the proccesor tower back to
Best Buy to have them restore it to an earlier point, however I am a senior
citizen and disabled with no one to help me.
Will someone please help me with an allternative solution ?
