default printer keeps changing

Have a user who installed a locally attach usb printer as
her default printer.

Come into the office now and even though she changed her
default printer to a network printer after a couple of
print jobs it rolls back to her usb printer.

Why? and how do I fix this?

If a default printer becomes unavailable, another available printer
will be selected as the default. Network printers could become
unavailable due to network connectivity, changing of permissions,
shutdown of the host computer or other reasons.
