I just loaded a new photo image editor program to do more editing than with the microsoft editor that came with XP. Unfortunately, now everytime I want to view a photo, my new photo image software is the default program that is used. It takes additional time to load. I really don't need this for just viewing photos that are sent or photos I am looking for in my files. My specific question is
How do I set the photo viewer software in XP to be the default when just viewing photo's.? When I want to edit, I will load my new software.
Thanks

Try this...right click an image file and
from the menu, choose......Open With /
Choose Program / Select "Windows
Picture and Fax Viewer"

Once you make your selection...be sure to
check the box that says: "Always use the
selected program to open this kind of file"
/ OK...(you will need to do this for each
format....jpg, .tif, .gif...etc.)
