Recently, whenever I click on an email address imbedded in an email, I get a
message that says "Could not perform this operation because the default mail
client is not properly installed." Does anyone have any suggestion on how
to fix this? Thank you.

From Internet Explorer, open Internet Options, Programs tab
Select your preferred email program from the "E-mail" listing and then click OK.

Ramesh - Thank you, but it was already set. I set it again just to make
sure, but still get the same message. Any other suggestions? Thank you
again for your help

I found it - I reset the mail program in the "Set program access and
defaults" section shown on my Start Program area. Thanks again for your
help.

Bill,

Which email client are you using? Select a different one from the list, press OK. Then repeat the same and select your preferred email client again from the list.

For Outlook Express, try this:

Click Start, Run and type:

MSIMN.EXE /REG
regsvr32 "%ProgramFiles%\Outlook Express\msoe.dll"
