If I understand your problem correctly you want the focus to be set to your
Inbox when you start Outlook. If this is the case then try using the
following steps:
1. Open Outlook.
2. Go to Tools -> Options.
3. Select the Other tab.
4. Select the Advanced Options button.
5. Next to "Startup in this folder" it should say Inbox if this is not the
case then select Browse and select the Inbox.
If it already says inbox then you may want to select another folder click
Ok on all these windows and close Outlook and then come back and repeat the
steps to select the Inbox.
