Default gateway

I am having a problem with my connection. Every time I start my computer,I
get a network cable is not connected and after about a minute,it works. It
worked when I first hooked up. New computer,xp media,broadband. All I did was
move my computer and plug everything back in and it's been doing this ever
since.I ran diagnostics and it said "network connection failed" and Default
IPGateway failed. I have checked all cables and everything is ok. If I wait
for 5 minutes it's ok. It's only when I first start up. Anybody have any
ideas? Thanks

Are you doing a SHUTDOWN, STANDBY or HIBERNATE?

Are you using a powerbar?
