How do I change the default font for the return address? Now I have to
change each timie and I think I should be able to make the default change.
Thanks!

Press Ctrl+Alt+Shift+S to open the Styles pane. Right-click the Envelope
Address style (which may be partially hidden between Endnote Text and
Envelope Return) and choose Modify. Change the font, click the option for
"New documents based on this template", and click OK.

You need to modify the Envelope Return style, as follows:

1. On the Home tab, in the Styles group, click on the dialog launcher arrow
in the bottom right corner to open the Styles task pane.

2. Click on Options... and choose "All styles" for the "styles to show,"
then OK to close the dialog.

3. Find the Envelope Return style in the list.

4. Right-click and choose Modify...

5. In the Modify Style dialog, choose Format | Font.

6. In the Font dialog, change the font and click OK.

7. In the Modify Style dialog, choose the "New documents based on this
template" radio button and click OK.

8. You can now click Options... again and set the style list back to
"Recommended."

Could not find the Envelope Address Style. I did this while on a normal page
and with the Envelope box open.

You won't see those styles unless you click on Options... and choose "All
styles" as the list to show. And you should not try to do this with the
Envelopes and Labels dialog open.

I don't get the Styles task pane when I press Ctrl+Alt+Shift+S; Ctrl+Shift+S
opens the Apply Styles box, but it doesn't list all the styles, either,
unless you have "All styles" selected for the Styles task pane.

Thanks, Suzanne. Using these instructions, I finally got it right. Not
exactly the easiest thing to find. Just curious - is this info available
through the normnal Help menu system? I could not find any info that way.
Probably do not know where to look or how to ask the question properly.

Thanks again.

AFAICS, there is hardly anything useful in the built-in Help in Word 2007.
If you let Help search online, you get lots of potentially useful stuff, but
(a) it's all online and (b) a lot of it is tutorials or demos that require a
considerable time investment.
