Since reinstalling Outlook 2002 and Microsoft ActiveSync 3.8 on my new
computor, I unable to get either of these programs to work. When I trigger
the
Outlook Icon, I am shown a window that says:
"Unable to open your default e-mail folders. the .DLL file for information
service can not be found. MAPI unable to load information service
PSTPRX.DLLAs a consequence I remain unable to sync or download information
onto my
PDA. Can anyone suggest a solution please? I am running XP pro with service
pack 2

C reate a new mail profile here: Control Panel->Mail Icon->Show
Profiles->New. Do not copy your old one, it is corrupt.
