Default email problems

Two issues about setting the default email in IE 6.0 +XPSP2. Selecting
Hotmail I find that web email links take me to a blank page with a "Done"
status, otherwise the Hotmail system works perfectly well on its own. This
behaviour is on 1 of 2 PCs that I have.

The other problem is getting IE to recognize Yahoo mail; Yahoo offers a
download to link their email service to IE (Tools|Options|Programs) but this
appears to do nothing. Unfortunately, Yahoo help is non-existent!

Are there any user friendly fixes for these problems?

I would think. I've not known it to prove troublesome for other users,
Gord, but YMMV.

This behaviour is on 1 of 2 PCs that I have.

Are they both running SP2 with all updates? Is one running with a
third-party firewall that's not installed on the other one?
