If you use Public variable ... in the declarations section of a standard module, the variable will be available in all VBA modules. To make it available in queryies or text box expressions. you have to create a Public function in a standard module that returns the variable's value: Public MyVar As whatever Public Function GetMyVar() GetMyVar = MyVar End Function
