DDR4000 in a DDR3200 slot to assist overclocking

Is it a good idea if overclocking to fit faster RAM than the mobo can
nominaly make use of to provide a little headroom for overclocking the FSB?

Sounds good to me. I haven't played with overclocking since my early
celeron days, but when you're upping the CPU FSB it's going to up the
RAM FSB, too :-) Best to have RAM built to function at that higher FSB.
Unless, of course, you're really into the challenge of overclocking and
have a fully pimped out PC water cooling kit :-)
