Can anyone tell me what the differance is between the 512 mb DDR 400 kit
and the 512 mb DDR 433 EL.
The 400 kit has two sticks while the 433 has only one, which is better??

Thanks in advance.

DDR400 is PC3200 ram and is rated for a 200MHz bus.

DDR433 is PC3500 ram and is rated for a 216MHz bus.

Faster is always better even if you don't need the the speed now. If you
have a system that supports dual channel ram, you might want to use 2
sticks. BTW, there is no such thing as dual channel ram. You just need 2
sticks of ram to run dual channel in dual channel systems. You can also
run with one. DDR (Double Data Rate) means the ram will support 2 bits per
clock. This rate is erroneously used as MHz by some vendors, as in PC3200
400MHz ram.
