DCOM errors

I have a customer who has created dcom object that is suppose to open and
save an excel sheet from his website. The process hangs and there are two
errors reported. Teh Dcom error says " The sevrer
(00024500-0000-0000-c000-000000000046) did not register with DCOM within the
required timeout.

I have researched this and found it can be many things.... anybody seen this
GUID before....

Try ms.public.programmer.ole, this is a Windows Installer group.

That Guid is the Excel classid, exactly what you'd expect.
