I'm having some problems with dcomcnfg (as-was) through mmc.
When I launch dcomcnfg, and MMC appears I click through the Component
Services tree and navigate to DCOM Config. At this point, a right-click
should allow me to view and edit a DCOM server's security properties.
Unfortunately, I'm not seeing the "Properties" option.
I've seen a couple of other postings complaining about the same
problem, and a few replies indicating potential workarounds (none of
which have worked for me.)
I have a pretty large image, with all the usual DCOM and COM
components. I also have the Message Queuing COM, DCOM and Core
components, as well as the Kdcom primitive. mqoa.dll is registered.
I've run SysInternal's filemon.exe and procexp.exe to try and determine
what I'm missing - to no avail.
Anyone have any ideas?
